John Sunderland

John “Jack” Sunderland passed away in Reno, Nevada after a brief illness on April 4, 2015. He was born in Albany, California on May 7, 1931. His family moved to Napa in the late 30’s. He was a graduate of St Johns and Napa High. He worked at both Kaiser Steel and Mare Island as a Welder Machinist. During the mid 70’s he was well known through out Napa as “Napa Jack” on the Saturday night speedway races at the fairgrounds. He also enjoyed sailing.

Jack is survived by Dixie, his wife of many years. He is also survived by four children, many grandchildren and a few great grandchildren.

There will be no services.
