In Memory

Mike Hogan

From Napa Register 11/9/23

He is survived by daughters: Amy Brown, Vanyisa (Molly) Sampat, Addie Hogan; sisters: Julie Hogan Paniagua, Carol Edwards; many nieces and nephews; and six grandchildren: Audrey, Kobe, Cole, Isaiah, Quincy, and Uma.

There will be a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. on November 18, 2023, at Crosswalk Church, 2590 First St., Napa, CA.

This is sad news.  Mike and I attended California State University at Chico at the same time.  Oh how Mike loved football, and seemed to have no fear on the field in high school.  Remembering Mike's friends and family with prayers,  Donna (Thompson) Hoshor

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I have good memories of of Mike as well. I had him in a few classes HS days. We met again in the mid to late 70s while working together at Kaiser Steel for a couple years. Debbie and I planned a 3 day trip to Tahoe one winter inviting Mike and his wife for sledding and got to know his wife really well. They brought along a baby sitter & friend for their first child while we managed to get out for some fun. We really got to know him during those few years before we moved to Washington State. Yes, he was a great football player and enjoyed watching him on the field. RIP my friend. Prayers to all the family.     Gary & Debbie Noel

So sorry to hear of Mike's passing.  He was a great guy and one hell of an athlete, football being his favorite.  Spent some time with Mike and his step brother Mike Clark on Hagan road as part of the family when they took me in.  Very fond memories during that period of time, they both accepted me as part of the family. I will never forget the practical joke that they played on me one night with Pat Baker. Fortuntely it was all good.  Fond memories R.I.P. Mike your will truly be missed!

I'm so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I remember him as a friendly, happy person. As previouly noted, he was fearless on the gridiron - I can still see him charging through the line behind Jim Gaudino's blocking.

Very sad to hear of Mike's passing.

I have some very fond memories of Mike, my very favourite being his legendary dance with the broomstick (to a rocking band) at my 16th BD on Main Street way back in '65!!

Condolences to Mike's loved ones. RIP, Michael Hogan. ❤
