Jacquelyn "Jackie" Burt, 49, of McClure, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Parkview Regional Hospital, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She was born February 11, 1968 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Kenneth and Linda (Damron) Thomas.
Jackie was a 1986 graduate of Napoleon High School and graduated from Owens Community College as a licensed dental hygienist. She was currently working as an in-office and at-school dental hygienist for Bryan Community Health Center, Bryan, Ohio. She previously worked with Dr. Poeppelman, Ottawa, Ohio; Dr. LaLonde, Napoleon and the Henry County Health Department.
She was a member of McClure United Methodist Church; McClure American Legion Post Auxiliary and the Moose Lodge, Napoleon. Jackie truly enjoyed gardening and cleaning her house. She opened her home to the many "Boys" of McClure Indians Baseball. Her greatest devotion was her two sons, and being a mother was her greatest passion.
She is survived by her two sons, Jon Burt, Jeromy Burt, both of McClure; mother, Linda (Jerry) Daniels, McClure; brother, Kenneth (Sarah) Thomas, Hamler, Ohio; sister, Laura Myers, McClure; 7 nieces and nephews and special friend, Johnny Rice, McClure.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant brother, Jeromy Thomas.
Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at McClure United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Hockman Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure and 10-11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
