I was the first EMS responder on scene when John died, and I was horrified to find that John was the patient. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done to save his life.
It was sad that he left us, but I will never forget the good times we had together.

I will miss him.

John was a very calm and kind individual. He always had a smile on his face and was more than willing to do anything for anyone. I went to Purdue with John and we both were in Engineering school together. Then after graduation I was hired by CTS Automotive division and John was hired by CTS Corporate. He eventually moved over to the Automotive division with me. He was an incredible Engineer that was extremely talented, intelligent and creative in Electronics Design of Analog and Digital Electronics. It greatly hurt when I heard of his death, I never would have expected it. I pray that our Lord and Savior may be with John's family, especially his daughter and stepson. John will be missed, but not forgotten.

I was very sad to hear about John's passing at the reunion. He was very nice to me. He was always willing to give me a ride home after choir practice and even rescued me from the Senior prom when my date's dad didn't show up to get us. I've thought about him over the years and have tried to find him, but was unable to. My prayers are with his family. He will be missed.

Not only did I go to Purdue with John, but I lived right next door to him (at Purdue). I got to know John there 100 times better than I had in High School. And he got to see a side of me that few of my NW classmates ever saw. We talked late at night a zillion times about all sorts of life's philosophies.

John was a great man of mind and soul. I miss his wisdom and kindness very much. I wish I could have been there for him like he was there for so many. He was always quick to lend a hand but reluctent to ever ask for one.

Rest in peace, my friend.
