Ann, had a wonderful personality, the last time I saw her was at Freeport International Airport some years ago and she was still the same with that enduring smile.

There were two Deborah Johnsons in the class of ’71. I don’t remember if it was in Spanish Class or homeroom, but Mrs Rose found it challenging to have two girls with the same name in the same class. Mrs. Rose said to them, either you can be Theresa or you can be Anne.   Do you mind being called Anne. She responded, “No.”   Mrs. Rose, smiling, then said, “Okay, good. From now on you are Anne and you are Deborah." That’s how her name was changed from Deborah to Anne.
