Mrs. Allbritten, born October 17, 1911, died November 24, 2001.

Funeral services for Mrs. Blanche Allbritten, 90, of Murray, Ky., will be held Tuesday, November 27, at 7 p.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Carolyn West officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn., under the direction of J. H. Churchill Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 28, at Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:30 a.m.

Mrs. Allbritten died Saturday, November 24, 2001, at 10:55 p.m. at Westview Nursing Home in Murray, Ky.

She had an MA/BA from University of Texas.  She was a retired high school teacher, a member of the Natchitoches Historical Society, the Council for the Development of French in Louisiana, member of the Murray Women's Club Garden Department and a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.

She was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., on October 17, 1911.

Survivors include a son, William L. Allbritten and his wife, Rose; and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Bogal Allbritten, all of Murray, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo T. Allbritten, her father, Fred Burbank, and her mother, Harriet Payne Burbank.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Murray Hospice Program.
