Archel Edward Williams, Jr.

Funeral Services for Archel Edward Williams, Jr., of Campti, Louisiana will be Monday, November 28, 2016, at 2:00 pm at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches, Louisiana with Bro. Nailes and Bro. Silas officiating.  Interment will follow at Weaver Cemetery in camp, Louisiana.  A visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.

Mr. Williams was born April 6, 1944, in Natchitoches Parish and went to his eternal home on November 25, 2016.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archel and Cleo Williams; three brothers, Carl, Robert and Leon; one sister, Betty Mae Chesson, and his son, Christopher Williams, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Williams of Campti, Louisiana two sons, Russell and wife Chelsea and Michael and wife Rebecca both of Campti, Louisiana; daughter-in-law, sandy Williams of Jacksonville, FL.  He is also survived by his daughter, Tina Meers; son, Jerry Williams and their mother Elizabeth Williams of Campti, Louisiana; grandchildren, Morgan, Christopher, Jr., Christopher Wayne, Russell, Jr., Natalie, Shannon, Austin, Alicia, Chad, Brandie, and Cody.  As well as a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Monty Williams, Terry Williams, Tanner Auttonberry, D.J.Williams, Sean Williams, and Casey Ebert.  Honorary pallbearers include Joey Creamer and Lynn Layfield.
