Stephen Eugene Daniel

  The passing of Steve was a shock to all who knew him. He was 34
years, 7 months old. He was born August 22, 1949, in
Natchitoches, La. He went to be with our Lord, midnight, March
29, 1984. His death was caused by heart failure. Ft. Jesup was
the final place of rest.

  He leaves behind these to miss him; his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Eugene Daniel of Lake Charles; his own mother, Mrs. Gladys
Slaughter of Vowells Mills, Natchitoches; one sister, Linda Fay
Daniel; and two nephews, Steve, and Seath Parker of Natchitoches;
one half brother, Marvin E. Daniels of Lake Charles; one step
brother, Allen C. Davis, Lake Charles; one step sister, Ioma Fay
Davis Miller; and one step niece, Mary Ann Miller of Houston,
Tex.

  The pastor of the First Assembly of God, Rev. David Allen of
Natchitoches, and Rev. T. Williams conducted the services. Mrs.
Allen sang "Beyond The Sunset". Services were conducted in the
Chapel of the Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home.
