Tom and I were great friends during our elementary days at Broadmeadow. Later we drifted apart a bit in high school as our lives took on different friends. I was sorry that he was unable to attend our 50th Reunion as he had early on expressed interest in doing so. He was a great "kid" and an even better adult and Karen and I send our best to his family.
Tom was a great friend of mine. We both played trombone in the band together and often hung out after school. Once in my boat we came close to a bad ending in Boston Harbor but managed to survive. I will miss Tom and wish his family the best.
I can see Tom today, just as he looked in the halls at Needham High School. What a good, good kid, friendly and congenial. What a sad loss for us all, and yes, he had wanted to attend out 50th as we were told then. Tom will be remembered by us all, classmates of 1962. God bless, Tom. Betsey Loomis Whitney
How incredibley sad to learn of so many of our classmates passing. It seems like yesterday that we were in school together.
I first ntoiced Tom in 8th grade. He was a hall monitor ( in that old Junior High Building) and I passed his station while changing classes. I had a little crush on him then! Wasn't he CUTE? In high school we were in the band, along with many other terrific people. I can see Tom now...red faced blowing on that trombone, working the slide and blowing out the "key".
Tom was such a nice person and I know he will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Tom and I became friends in the bandroom. We both worked near each other in Boston and saw each other
occasionally after high school..
Our first home purchase was where Tom grew up on Green Street. After leaving Shawmut bank Tom worked
in my office for about 4 years before moving to Utah. We had many trips together, one being most insightful
to Utah.
Tom was a principled individual with high standards of behavior who projected so many indefinable .positive
qualities. I was fortunate that he was part of my life and his legacy will be carried forward by a most wonderful
family.
