Nelson was a devote believer, husband to Gale, father of Jason and Robbie and grand and great grand dad to Robbie's and Jason's children. He served in the US Air Force for 20 years and then as a civil servant supporting the air force for another 20. Nelson was always known as Buddy. Buddy had a great sense of humor, loved to tinker and make things and was very generous with his time volunteering at his church and a veterans organization in Omaha. He will be missed by family and friends.
