I was deeply saddened to hear of Harvey's passing. We were friends through high school and then 2 years at then Notre Dame University in Nelson from 63-65. Harvey's was a quiet, unassuming, dignified person. He was also highly intelligent. We took a Logics course together in 64-65 at NDU. One morning Harvey figured out a formula to take all the guess work out of whether a premise was true, false, or doubtful. He presented it to the professor and our class and nobody ever got a wrong answer again on any exam in that area. The world is a lesser place without Harvey and I wish him Godspeed and may he always have fair winds and following seas.
