Greg was born one day before me in July 1947. We sometimes celebrated our birthdays together - last time when we turned 70. We were both in Amy Ferguson's Boys Choir back in the day.

So sorry to hear of Greg's passing. He was a good friend as we grew up together. I was in Mrs Ferguson's choir  with Greg for awhile as well. I think his mom was a war bride like my mum if I remember correctly. I know they were friends. RIP Greg

When I started at Trafalgar, 7th grade, 4th school in 7 years, Greg was one of the first kids in my class to introduce himself and we were friends through high school. He told me that first day he wanted to be a doctor. I just wanted to get on the bus after school and back to Balfour without a confrontation. Rest in Peace Greg.

I remember Greg from our Nelson days, school,  and also Amy Ferguson's Choristers teen choir.  I knew his mother also and she was justifiably proud of her sons and their accomplishments. When we were at UBC, four former Nelsonites, including Greg, were in a quartet for a short time, and sang at  a couple of events . Later, when Greg and his family lived in Ottawa, we visited when I was in Ottawa visiting my daughter who worked there at that time.  When  Greg and his family returned to BC, we were occasionally in touch via email. So sorry to learn that his family has lost Greg.  Condolences to them.
