Ron was a good friend at LVR and for years after graduation. Among many things, Ron worked as a barber in Nelson. He has been unwell for many years. I am saddened to hear of his passing.
Doug Seaby----I used to hang out with Ron over the years of going to school--I remember his little tricks he use to play on the guys when he was cutting hair ---We lost contact for many years after I moved on--He was a good easy going guy that went threw a lot af bad health problems for many years..Hopefully he is now at a better place---Doug
In the sixties after graduation I moved to Kamloops. There came a time when I was looking for a room mate and Ron and another barber ended up sharing an apartment with me .As mentioned by others Ron was an easy going guy. At that time he had an issue with diabetes. The three of us went our own ways after about a year. I often wondered where Ron had gone. I wish I had known he was back in Nelson . I would have looked him up and talked old times. This is a sad way to find things out. As Doug said he is probably in a better place now
