Even after 27 years, I still miss Denise. She was so artistically talented. Most of all, she had a good heart, and never had a bad thing to say about anyone.
I worked with Denise at the Neosho Pool the summer of 1980. She always had a positive attitude and could out swim any of us. She never let what she was going through get her down. She is still missed by many.
