David Allen Slaughter passed away Nov. 24, 2014 after a short illness. Originally from New Baltimore, Michigan, he loved his job as a hotel manager and had lived in many states. He is survived by his sister, Denise (Parr) Thomas, and brothers Roger Gibson and Rick Slaughter.

Dave was a kind and gentle soul. He was a member of the local Baptist church.  He worked with the big brothers & big sisters program in several different states.  He was a member of the Lions Club International as well as a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. He was 48 when he passed away.
