Hey Rai Ann, I must have missed you at Shop with a Cop. That's a pretty awesome event! For those of you that don't know what it is, The Fraternal Order of Police Lodge in Chesterfield started a program about 15 years ago where they take kids who otherwise might not have a Christmas shopping. They get to spend $100 on anything they want and they go pick out their stuff with a police officer. This year they took approximately 300 kids and it's the coolest two hours of chaos you'll ever see.

For anyone looking for a tax deductible charity to donate to, send me a message and I can give you their address.

Rai Ann, in addition to Shop with a Cop are there other charitable organizations that your family is part of or works with? I know you mentioned Make a Wish before but are there others as well?

My family and I have decided that instead of giving each other gifts this year, we'd rather make donations to one or more helpful charitable organizations. I have several that I usually donate to but I would like to include one or two that can help benefit families like yours. I hope that came out right.

Please post the information here so that if there are other people who would like to do the same, they can find the information easily. (Marty, if you wouldn't mind please post the Shop with a Cop information here too.)

There are a couple of different things we do: Juliana has a Toy Drive we started when she was one years old. It is called the Juliana Toys for Joy Toy Drive. All the new unwrapped toys go to the VanElslander Cancer Center at St. Johns Hospital. These toys go to our cancer kids who sit in treatment from 1 to 6 hours a day. It is hard keeping a child happy for that long sometimes especially when they don't feel good. So these toys make the kids smile and it is so worth it! They get B-Day Presents, Christmas Presents, If they have a special procedure that day, etc. Also if we have a lot like we did last year I take care of the peds floor at St. John Hospital. Our kids have isolation rooms and they can not play with the toys out of the toy room. So these new toys out of the wrapper can make there stat a little better for them. Some of our kids are there from 1 day to months sometimes. It is an awesome cause that really does make a lot of kids feel better even if it is for one minute.

The other cause is the Anchor Bay/New Baltimore Cancer Relay. We do this every summer and like the toy drive out team keeps getting bigger and bigger. Last year I can proudly say our team took first place in raising the most money. What a unbelievable feeling that was.

Then there is also Make A Wish which has always been one of my favorites!

Sorry this message is so long. If anyone wants more info for the toy drive please let me know. I will give a more detailed list of toys we are looking for. Also any kind of gift cards are always A Big Need!

We are looking for toys for boys ages 2-7 match box cars, action figures any kind, lego's etc.. Little girls same 2-8 Little people, Princesses, Polly Pockets, Barbies, Baby Dolls, And Any All Board games, Hand held games, Coloring Books and Crayons, Card Games, Any craft items, Puzzle Books etc..

Tracey, if it makes it easier for you we also are in need of any fast food gift cards, gas cards, Target, Meijer (is a good one so people can buy Christmas Dinner too.) Kmart, Whatever you have available by you.

Ok Joe... so apparently Lee and my brother were amongst the best looking people there? Sheesh, xmas is going to be unbearable with all the egos. I'll never hear the end of it. lol. ;)

1. Best Looking Spouse? (I vote for Wayne Moore's wife Lori and I guess I have to pick Lee too.)

2. Best Kept/Best looking? (Tina Black looks amazing, but I have to say that the girls all held up really well. I don't know how everyone looks so good after all the kids they've had! How do you all do it?)

3. Coolest/Best personality? (I think I have to vote for Rai Ann on this one. She was such a sweetheart even after hearing that so many of us were scared of her back in the day. lol. Rai Ann, I'm sorry I so misjudged you.)

4. Biggest Train wreck? (I'll go with the safe choice of Murph too.) ;)

5. Who was not at the reunion that you wish was? (There's a lot of people I wish could have been there. Lapinsky, Hoover, Marianne Robson, Kim Cook, Anna Wilson, Cleon Washington, Brian Wood, Kim Loch, Susan Marron... the list goes on.)

6. Who was at the reunion that you wish was not? (Honestly, no one. I had a blast seeing everyone. I just wish I had a chance to talk to everyone a bit more.)

Jennifer Schwab You all crack me up... For the record Chris, I'm not beating down the 40 door. I prefer to glide through it as gracefully as I can. Which means that I will probably trip over something, hit my head and go crashing through it.

Jeffrey Murphy screw that, i am blasting right through that door! onward and upward! red bull and vodka... thats funny. that was the drink of choice on saturday night as well... ugh... it took me 30 hours to feel human again. i heard stories of eating pizza in the elevator, just riding up and down... so much fun!
