Sorry I keep posting but I can't help it. I was just about to stop but..

YIKES Rai Ann! That's really funny. You had me at the part where you woke up at your in laws in the lace tablecloth. But there was even more after that! That's a GREAT story, Seabreeze!

Mary- I think Beer is a great nickname! It used to be mine until I started drinking Scotch. What kind of beer was it? Maybe we can call you that. Amber ale? Dark? Lite? Bell's? What?

Nicole, Iknow it was not my best moment, but let me just add one thing I passed out in the neighbirs lawn first, then went in the house and passed out with the lace table cloth. Guess what igot for Christmas that year, the lace tablecloth. It was kinda funny! At least they have a sense of humor!

Jeff, your story makes me feel better. But at least it wasn't your mother-in-law!

Ok, I have one sort of embarrassing drunk story from high school. Derek Rettell had a party at his house when his parents and my parents went somewhere for the evening. I got so drunk that ended up crying on Tammy Turri's shoulder and Derek ended up walking me home. But I don't remember anything after that. And I'm still not sure how I got into my pajamas - lol. But I do remember running into the bathroom to throw up right as my parents got home. Apparently, I threw up in the tub and elsewhere. The next day, my parents punished me by dragging my hungover ass to the Concours d'Elegance at Greenfield Village (because a family friend was showing a restored car) and I had to stand in the hot sun all day. My mom was so pissed at me but my dad thought it was pretty amusing.

Wow, Tammi Turri, haven't heard that name in a long time! She was a riot!

Jen, that was a good pay back from your mom. To have to stand in the sun sucks, but at Greenfield Village..Yikes!

yeah, Tammy was so sweet to me. And my mom is the queen of dispensing appropriate justice.

Lisa, what a great love story, so what is your drunk moment?

Junior year I went to CMU with Eric Kammerer and Dave Murphy, and all of our parents. Parents weekend and Halloween. Eric's older brother had a party. Jungle Juice! The next morning we went to some brunch place...help me Chip grads. Anyhow, we had driven two cars, kids in one parents in the other. We got about 10 miles down the road and I hurled in a tennis ball can in the back of Eric's car. He swerved into a parking lot and Eric and Dave dove out of the car. As my parents walked over I rolled the FULL, CLEAR can of vomit out the car door. Not so embarrassing, but a good drunken story I think.

Met my wife at summer camp. Met her again 5 years later. She was prepared to settle for the guy she was dating at the time....but I got her drunk and the rest is history.

Drunk moment? Hmmm...so many to choose from. There was the time that we had a party at my house while the parents were out of town. We didn't clean up that night cuz we figured we had all Sunday to do it. Several people spent the night on the couches, the living room floor, etc. It was all fine until my grandparents decided to 'surprise' us with a visit early the next morning. My sister and I got up, but everyone spending the night - right there on the floor - just pretended they were still sleeping. That was the longest day of my life...waiting for my parents to come home.

Just for the record- Ok, so I do recall having the nickname and the lyrics now, thank you Smurph. I DID NOT get that nickname because I did all those things that Prince's Darkin Nikki did.

I met my Guest Of in my last year at MSU. We both lived in a co-op called Zolton House.

Good night. See/blog all you funny people tomorrow :-)

I have only been drunk once in my life...at a geology conference in Cincinnati while in grad school. I had 6 beers in a bar with an old friend but nothing bad happened. I have not had that many beers total since so I live a boring life compared to some of you.

I met me wife while teaching at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY. She was a civilian professor in the Math Dept. just out of her PhD program and was from Michigan (Birmingham Seaholm grad). I had just arrived as a rotating military faculty member. She came to a swing dancing class I taught and helped me out. We became friends and dance partners and the rest followed.
A few months after we started dating we found out that her best friend from high school is my second cousin. He stood up on her side at the wedding so that was funny. The only sad part was that we found this out because my dad was in the hospital dying when his cousin came to visit and made the connection. On the good side, I reconnected with an entire part of my family I had not seen in 20 years.
