I remember Alan from our classes at NBHS.  We both served at Fort Benning GA (1968 -1969, Activated for the Vietnam War, with the Massachusetts Army Nat'l Guard, 1st/211th Field Artillery).  He was a friend to all who knew him.  Rest in Peace Alan.

Alan was a great friend and companion.  We had classes together and as he just lived down the street from me and we used to get together outside school.  Rest in peace Alan you will be missed.

Skip, my brother and I were just talking about him a couple of weeks ago as my brother suggested I look him up. Skip and I used to go skiing, boating and hang out quite a bit together. He had a nice '63 corvette and later a '65 Shelby 500 mustang that he enjoyed a lot. His father made a good impression on my view of investing. We lost touch as we both went on different paths and life became full of family, work and success. Our shared dedication to ideals certainly kept us busy! But I do regret not seeking out old friends and this is a bitter note to the fact that we do lose touch with those we shared good times with. In that spirit and to Skip's passing, I will endeavor to pass along the meaning of patriotic perserverance, the continued relationship of true friends and the value of family. As an engineer in support of our Navy in Newport and beyond, Skip's memory will continue to influence.
