I didn't know Pat Santos Ferreira while in high school, but, my mom met her at PACE while volunteering in helping the Fuel Assistance Program. Pat worked there for over 20 years. She had 2 children, and lived in a beautiful home in Rochester, with a great husband,Tony. Melanie, her oldest, is my daughter- in-law, and Mom to my 3 grandchildren. Pat has a son, Jeremy who has 3 daughters, and one son. Her death was very untimely, and she is sorely missed.
My heart is saddened not only learning of your passing but not having the opportunity to pay my respects or to talk to you one more time. You and your family were a part of mine and I must see your dear mother. Our special bond began as children, continued through school, and for many years after but we never took the time to appreciate each other. You were one of the reasons that I failed Mrs Miles typing class along with every other student as I was the only male. The Easter snowstorm. You have the most captivating and beautiful eyes of anyone I have ever known. I miss your smile, your soft voice and you....Your suffering has ended and now you can rest. You shall always be remembered and a part of me. Good night for now. Love, Kenneth G.
I remember Pat from around school. She was a friend to all who knew her. Rest in Peace Pat.
