My thoughts and prayers go out to the Santos family. Ray-Ray was not only a high school classmate, but he was a childhood friend going back to grammar school. May he finally find the peace he sought...
If memory serves me right Ray-Ray boxed in the Golden Gloves. I remember one day we're in the courtyard at RJHS and I'm "sparring" with him when he hit me in the arm and it landed with a thud. There was something different about what it felt like to get hit from someone who knew how to throw a punch. Ray-Ray was a left if I recall. Rest in Peace Ray-Ray. I hope life treated you kindly and if not, I pray you are now.
I first maet Ray Ray when he started boxing with my Dad. We became instant friends. We laughed, fought and schemed together many times. His frienship is one I will never forget. RIP my dear friend. You can rest in comfort and peace and not have to fight anymore.
