Suzanne C. LaPlante, 61, of Kensington the loving wife of 40 years Ronald LaPlante passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011, at home with her loving family by her side. She is the daughter of Jean (Talbot) Corr and the late Robert Corr Jr. of New Britain.

Suzanne was an avid golfer and was a member of the Timberlin Ladies Niners and the Ladies Goodwin Park League. She loved to paint, garden and travel. Her precious children and nine grandchildren were the love of her life. She was a member of St. Paul church in Kensington.

Besides her Husband and Mother she is survived by one son Gregory J. LaPlante and his wife Shannon of Portland, two daughters Kathryn Lewis and her husband Karl of Kensington and Jennifer Gendron-Meola and her husband Christopher Meola of Berlin, nine precious grandchildren, one brother Robert Corr III and his wife Maureen of New Britain, one sister Maura Corr of Wells, Maine, two sisters and brother-in-law Janet and Rich Sweeney and Jane Demers all of Fla. and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.  Besides her Father, she was predeceased by her Brother Christopher Corr and her son-in-law Keith Gendron.

Friends and family are invited to call on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Berlin Memorial Funeral Home 96 Main St. Kensington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday February 17, 2011 at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Church Alling St. Kensington. Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery will follow.
