Graduated Salutatorian in Class of 1967, behind Liz Yorkis. (I think it was that C in tumbling/gym that decreased my grade point.)
Graduated from Indiana University, Bloomington with a degree in Biology/Chemistry in 1971.
Graduated from IU School of Dentistry in Indianapolis with a DDS in 1975.
Also in 1975, I took the National Boards and Central Regional States Boards allowing me to practice as far west as Colorado. I married Bob Armstrong who was a law student I met in Indianapolis while I was in Dental School. We moved to Milton Wisconsin. Bob started his own law practice and I set up a solo dental practice. (I was a novelty as the first woman dentist in the Rock County, Walworth County, Green County tri-county area.)
Member of St. Mary Church in Milton. St. Mary adult Choir, Cantor, Eucharistic Minister.
Childeren's Choir director for 10 years, past member Parish Council, Liturgy Commission, Education Committee.

Milton Optimist Club, charter member. (President, 7 years; Treasurer, 3 years; Board member, 21 years)
Co-director, producer, Milton Optimist children's theater, Kids on Stage. Last year for our 20th production, we put on Cinderella, which had been our first production in 1990.
In 1992, returned to IU School of Dentistry to work for 6 years part-time on my mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry (professional dental association dedicated to excellence in continuing education, second in membership to the American Dental Association.)
Received my Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry in 1999 and continue with 25+ hours of maintenance continuing education yearly.
Sang with Choral Union, a local choir formed by Milton College 125 years ago, that puts on an annual concert featuring masterworks of classical music. Treasurer and executive board member for 14 years.
Volunteer half days at Healthnet, a low-income dental clinic in Janesville. Our county just lost the General Motors assembly plant and we have unemployment at twice the national average.
