I had the pleasure of knowing Bill since his days at Wilbur Wright, where we "watched" as he started his path to being one of the best atheletes in the Midwest. Not only was Bill a gifted athelete, but his many gifts as a GREAT human being were too numberable to list, he was a true friend, loyal to the last, kind to everyone , humble (to a fault), ever the center of a gathering, and just great to be around. There is a biblical directive we are challenged to live up to (paraphrased) "To whom much is given, much is expected". Bill, old friend, you did'nt let your maker down, good-bye old friend...
