Dale A. Owens, age 61, New Castle resident, passed away Wednesday June 18, 2014 at his home. He was born November 23, 1952 in New Castle, Indiana a son of the late Arthur and Betty (Cox) Owens.
Dale was self employed, and was a 1971 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School where he participated in track, wrestling, and football. He loved family activities, nature, outdoors, fishing, hunting, woodworking, and will be remembered as a man who desired to live in harmony with nature.
Left to cherish his loving memory include: one son, Uriah Owens (fiancé Stephanie Brundige), two daughters; Jhauntain Owens, Malisha Miller (husband Scott), four grandchildren; Cullen, Branson, Luke, and Emma, two sisters; Pam Owens, Cheryl Owens, also several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Arthur and Betty (Cox) Owens, wife Sharon Owens, one brother, Gary Owens.
Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon Saturday June 21 2014 at Macer-Hall Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 Noon Monday June 23, 2014 at Green Hills Memory Garden.
