Obituary for Micki Pierce
Micki Alexander Pierce, 58, of Monticello, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011. She was born March 29, 1953. She was the daughter of Stella (Watson) Sexton and the late Milton Alexander.
She was employed at Kroger in New Castle for 16 years.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Pierce of Monticello, KY: seven children, Tawnya Evans and Doug Fowler, both of New Castle, Nikki (Michael) Turnage of Las Vegas, NV, Michelle (David) Newman, Michael Pierce, Melissa (Fred) Weisheit, Mark (Kelli) Pierce, and Kelli Rishforth, all of New Castle; 13 grandchildren, Tyler, Taylor, and Jonathan Evans, Toby Emmons, Angel Fowler, Megan and Morgan McIver, Kyle and Emily Pierce, Brittany and Brooke Woods, Brandi Wiesheit, and Jayla White; and one great grandchild, Carrie Evans.
She is also survived by her mother, Stella Sexton and step-father, Kenneth Sexton, both of Monticello, KY; one brother, Bruce Alexander of New Castle; one sister, Diane (Lee) Beard of Greenfield; step brother; step sisters; special aunts, uncles, and cousins, along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.
In addition to her father, Milton Alexander, she was preceded in death by one brother, Milton Thomas Alexander; one sister, Rita Gaye Alexander; one great-granddaughter, Gracie Evans.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery-West Lawn Addition. Friends may call from 3-8 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service. There will also be a visitation from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Marvin S.
