He had cancer and had moved back to new phila about a year before he passed from columbus. steve fought it all the way and never lost his humor, He played guitars with sam shook and I until he was too ill to continue. Steve was a very good and brave soul."
Steve was a very dear friend and I have sooooooooo many wonderful memories with him. He taught me a lot and I miss him very much. The last time I was over to his house he had already begun chemo, and even though he wasn't feeling too good, he still made ME laugh. We watched a cooking channel together (he loved his cooking channels). Tommy and I even got him to go to Bud & Tooties over the summer before he passed. Steve was one of the most unique, generous and beautiful people I have ever had the priveledge of knowing. He was one of my favorite people. May God bless and keep him. His humor and outlook on life will never be forgotten.
