Edward J. Hruby Jr., 62, of Lonsdale, died at the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis on Friday, April 22, 2005.

He was born in Northfield on March 16, 1943, to Edward Sr. and Adeline (Sevcik) Hruby.

Edward was self employed and owned and operated the Big Steer Restaurant/Truck Stop.

He is survived by his parents; children, Annette (fiancee, Scott Olson) Hruby, Shoreview, Stacy (David Lindstrom) Hruby, Los Angeles, CA, Aaron Hruby, Minneapolis, Julie Hruby, Los Angeles, CA; grandchildren, Zoe and John Edward; sisters, Patricia Hruby, Faribault, Debra (Eugene) Jeurissen, New Prague.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Shieldsville.
