Can it really be 45 years since we were 18? Hard to believe. God has been so good to me.
After high school, I continued at DMLC and graduated. I received my divine call to Caledonia, MN, which is in the southeast corner of the state. I taught grades 1-2 for 8 years.
I started dating a widower named Elton Krueger. We had a whirlwind courtship and married in 1975. I became an instant mom to 3 children: Bennet-12, Allen-11 and Linda-7. I taught one more year and then retired to make my life as a wife and mother and to milk cows on our dairy farm. The Lord blessed us with two sons, Paul, now 31, and Karl, who died in infancy. Bennet is married to Diane, lives in Monroe, LA, and has a stepson, Stephen. Allen married Jody, lives next door to us and has 3 children: Caitlyn-15, Carlie-13, and Chayce-11. Linda married Richard, lives in Edgar, WI and has 3 boys: Caleb-10, Justin-9, Trevor-7 Paul married Jenny, lives in Brownsville, MN and has a stepson, Cameron 10 and a baby on the way.
I previously played organ for our church and now give piano lessons. I enjoy gardening, counted cross stitch, crocheting, Sudoku, and playing cards. I look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion! I would enjoy hearing from anyone who can’t make it to Lacrosse.
