Janice is survived by her children, Julie Jaskowiak of Glencoe, Reed (Tricia) Boltmann of Edina, Jena (Duane) Iverson of Winsted, Elizabeth Boltmann of Watertown; grandchildren, Nicholas (Larissa) Jaskowiak, Laura (Justin) Schmidt, Brock Boltmann, Jake Boltmann, Mitchell Schroeder, Logan Iverson; great grandchild, Carmen Schmidt; sisters, Marilyn Watchke of New Ulm, Audrey Watchke of New Ulm; brothers, Howard (Alice) Watchke of Blaine, Gary (Martha) Watchke of Richland Center, WI; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Broste.

Janice Mae Watchke was born October 20, 1945 to Walter and Elsie (Mielke) Watchke in New Ulm. She was baptized on November 14, 1945, confirmed in her faith on March 22, 1959, and married on June 23, 1963 at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in New Ulm. Janice also graduated from Dr. Martin Luther High School in New Ulm in 1963. Janice loved school and continued taking classes after high school and up until her final days. Janice was blessed with four children, who she dedicated her life to raising. She adored all of her family, often calling at all hours of the day or night to keep in touch. In addition to being a mother, Janice had a strong faith in Jesus and was a devout Christian. Janice also enjoyed being helpful in any way she could. She will be dearly missed by those that knew her.
