Mrs. Edna W. Fincher was from Anderson, S.C.  She graduated from Anderson College with an Associate Arts degree in elementary education. 

Mrs. Fincher substituted at Mayewood School eight years and taught full-time for two years.  She taught Second grade at Salem School.
