NEWARK: A funeral service for Margaret Ann Donley, age 66, of Newark, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 9, at Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will take place in Newark Memorial Gardens.
Margaret was born December 28, 1946 in Hohenwald, Tennessee. She passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at the Flint Ridge Nursing and Rehab Center following a courageous battle with cancer and Parkinson's disease.
Margaret had been employed with Woolworths in Heath for many years and at Meijer. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, bowling and doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by her mother and step-father, Melba (Bromley) and Charles Francis of Newark; sisters and brothers, Linda (Steve) Wheeler of Newark, Patricia West (Kevin Hargreaves) of McLeansville, NC, Sandra (Tom) Bradford of Portage, MI, Tom (Deleane) Johnson of Rhine, GA, David (Denise) Francis of Forsyth, GA, Cathy (Robert) Halicky and Jeff Perge, all of Blaine, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a great-niece and great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert J. Perge; her husband, Larry E. Donley, on January 10, 2013; an infant son, Jason Donley; maternal grandparents, Jesse and Martha Bromley; and paternal grandparents, John and Agnes Perge.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, December 8, at the funeral home, 179 Granville Street, Newark.
