Bill was a wonderful musician. He lived in the shadow of his older brother. But I hope he attained the happiness he was looking for. I know he found some of it in his music. His favorite song was, Fly Me to The Moon. I hope he is looking at the moon from Heaven.
As a little Cornet player, I appreciated playing aside Bill and his mighty trumpet and was honored to have counted him as a friend. He and Gabriel are probably having a great concert above.
I recall Bill as a nice guy. Many of us were going through the teen years with various degrees of success and little maturity. Bill appeared to be one of the guys you could be comfortable with. He and Dick Voris and Steve Odor provided a glimpse on what a real man could become - Friendly and Stable and Reliable. I hope he meets my Jeni in Heaven and is making some "Joyful Noise" His talent is able to make joyful music, Grace and Peace to Bill's family.

I too remember Bill raising that trumpet to his lips. Glad that we enjoy his playing and enjoyed having him as part of our band FAMILY!
