Kitty was a real sweetie. Smart, funny, bubbly and real cute. Kitty got into real estate sometime after high school and was a tremendous help to me after my father’s death in 1974. Kitty sold several properties for me that had to be liquidated in the process of settling my father’s estate. She was the same Kitty ten years out of high school but by then had developed into a solid business woman without losing those great assets we knew in high school.
Kitty was just a cute, fun person. I remember in Jr. High she lived with her grandparents. I think their name was Sedgwick. I believe he was a dentist. I called Kitty one night between 9:00 and 10:00. Her grandmother answered. She wanted to know what kind of boy would call that time of night and for me never to call her again.
Shelley and I would see Dave and Kitty frequently when they were first married. We loved Kitty and her personality. She told Shelley that Dave had this little wart on his lip. She said she was tired of seeing it and instead of kissing him one night she just bit the wart off. Shelley still cracks up when thinking about it. Kitty made us our first tacos. Shelley remembers how Kitty made her feel welcome. Kitty was such a good mother with the kids. What a lady!
