Terry F. Walker

Newark - A graveside service celebrating the life of Terry F. Walker, age 72, of Newark will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 20, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Keith Sjostrand officiating. Military honors will be observed by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Terry was born March 25, 1946 in Newark, Ohio to the late William and Dorothy (Fulk) Walker. He passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 at his home.

Terry was a 1964 graduate of Newark High School, served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and with the National Guard for 11 years. He retired from Rockwell after 31 years of service and worked for Ohio Oil Gathering for 10 years.

Terry attended Christian Apostolic Church in Newark, enjoyed music, loved animals and was an avid collector of watches and baseball cards.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda (Brown) Walker; daughters, Melissa Miller of Urbana, Christina (Kevin Partch) Walker of Newark and Julie (Brian) Scanlon of Hanover; eight grandchildren, Kaitlin (Brittnie) Baker, Storm Klein, Evan Lees, Karter Walker-Partch, Aiden, Noah, Leo and Cy Scanlon; great-granddaughter, Ava Klein; mother-in-law, Annette Brown of Newark; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his sister, Diane Stoll.
