Earl Jay Hysell
NEWARK: A funeral service for Earl Jay Hysell will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 1, 2011 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 North 21st Street, Newark with Minister Gus Andrews presiding. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery with military honors rendered by Licking County Veterans Alliance. The family will receive friends and relatives Sunday 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Hysell, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Selma Markowitz Care Center. He was born September 5, 1956 in Newark to his late parents Arthur and Lillian (Raynor) Hysell. Earl was a 1974 graduate of Newark High School and served in the
U.S. Navy. He was a former employee of U.S. Airways and was currently employed by Tamarack Farms Dairy.
Earl is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sherry (Cooper) Hysell; daughter Shanna Hysell Wetzel of Newark and son Jayson Hysell of Newark; grandchildren Lilly Hysell and Baylee Wetzel; brothers Stan (Judy) Hysell and Tom (Kaye) Hysell both of Newark; sister Shirley (Val) Jackson of Newark as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, his brother, Gary, preceded Earl in death.
Memorial gifts, in Earl's name, may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or the Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital, Columbus, Ohio.
