NEWARK – A funeral service celebrating the life of Keith O. Stigger, 53 of Newark will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Trinity A.M.E. Church, 64 E. Church Street, Newark with Rev. Reccior Mae Puryear and Rev. William Minifield officiating.
Keith passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 9, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born December 13, 1955 in Draper, Virginia to the late Orlando and Regina (Wolford) Stigger.
Survivors include his loving wife of 17 years, Cassandra E. (Smith) Stigger, whom he married January 17, 1992; children, Steven P. Durr of Largo, Fla., and Kezia Robertson of Columbus; sisters, Regina (Samuel) Madden, Kaye Stigger, Bertha Stigger, and Pattie Brown, all of Newark; grandchildren, Taylor M. Durr, Kaylin Spivey-Bennett, Kylisha Durr, Devon Robertson, and Robert Robertson; nieces and nephews, Samuel Madden, Jr. Emmanuel Madden, Gabriel Madden, Bryanna Stiggers, Brennen Stiggers, Sherry Brown, April Brown, and Ray Brown, Jr.
In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a brother in-law, Ray Brown.
Friends and family may visit 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home, 1850 W. Main Street, Newark.
