I KNOW RODNEY FROM THE 1ST GRADE TILL I LEFT SCHOOL WE WERE BEST FRIENDS I LOST TRACK OF HIM AFTER I LEFT SCHOOL AND WENT IN THE ARMY AND THEN MOVED TO AZ. I REMEMBER AT BEN FRANKLIN WE ALL CALLED HIM (THE MAN BLAKE)
I knew him from football. We were the same position and practiced side by side and went throught the same physical ordeal. That allows you to know and connect with a person on a unique level.
He had a great sense of houmor and had a postive impact on me. I can still see that grin of his.

I remember Rod most of our school years, I really hate to hear he has passed. My symothy for the family and kids that remember him.I just seen there was a red rose for him and it really saden me. He reminded me so much of willis on the show that had "what you talkin about".
You are missed to Rod.

Rodney was a blast. He got caught imitating Coach Downing by Coach Downing!
it was the only time I saw him embarrassed.
RIP Rodney "The MAN"
