Nancy (Bridgman) Koehn

Nancy Gail (Bridgman) Koehn, 77, passed away September 23, 2021, in Newton, Kansas.
She was born March 27, 1944, in Newton, the daughter of James Howard and Charlene Mae (Sanner) Bridgman.
Nancy was raised in Newton. In 1995, she graduated from Hutchinson Community College, receiving her degree in nursing. During her nursing career, she worked at New Hope in Valley Center (1995 – 2000) and Methodist Youthville (2000 – 2006) and later became a private homecare nurse before retiring in 2009.
Nancy was united in marriage to Kenneth Koehn, he preceded her in death. Together, Nancy and Kenny were active in the JC's.
For many years, Nancy decorated cakes for a living, something she not only had a talent for but also greatly enjoyed.
An avid bowler she participated in a bowling league. She adored both cats and dogs equally.
Nancy was a very generous and caring person and would help out anyone in need. She will be deeply missed.
Nancy is survived by her partner, Ray Crannell; son, Steven (Madalina) Killfoil; son-in-law, Patrick Lee; grandchildren, Austin Lee and Quentin Dickey; and great-grandchildren, Avery and Aspen Lee.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Koehn; daughter, Lisa Lee; and brother, Jim Bridgman.
