Early spring of 1965 following graduation Pat joined the United States Army and moved to El Paso, TX. In 1966, he married Anita Kennard from Hutchinson. Pat and Anita served our country in Germany and Huntsville, AL. Pat became a City Police Officer in 1970. During his 9 years with the Huntsville Police Department he served as a partolman and promoted to detective. In 1975, Pat and Anita welcomed a baby girl, Angela Marie. Pat lefted the Huntsville Police Department in 1979 and began working for the United States Army at Redstone Arsenal Al., as a civilian on the Hawk Missile Program. Pat worked with various missile programs through his career at Redstone. Pat was promoted to the Director of the Ordinance Missile School in 1999. Pat was a devoted husband and father. he was active in his daughter's activities and supported her local school organizations.  After Pat's daughter became an adult, he focused on enjoying his favorite hobby:Fishing. He took every opportunity possible to get on the gorgeous waters of North Alabama. He also had a love of animals, especially his devoted English Springer Spaniel, Abby and his grand dog English Springer Spaniel, Madison. Pat passed away on January 13, 2002 at th age of 54.
