Kevin W. Barry, 56, of San Juan Capistrano, CA, beloved husband, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, died on February 7, 2017.
Kevin was born in Lincoln, NE. Later the family moved to Longmont, CO. Kevin attended CU Boulder and received his B. A. in Political Science.
Kevin served in the US Army, achieved rank of Captain, and was an Airborne Ranger in the 82nd Airborne. After his service in the Army, he moved to Southern California and had a long career in the Insurance Industry.
In August, Kevin and his wife, Cindy, celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. They enjoyed traveling, cooking, the beach and camping.
He enjoyed serving his community, he volunteered for CERT and RACES.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Cynthia; brothers, Daniel and Ronald; mother and father, William and Dolores; sister-in-law, Kathy; brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Beth Quintana; nieces, Morgan and Brittney; nephew, Ross; and many family members who will miss him dearly.
Vigil/Rosary Service Thursday March 2, 2017, 7 pm at O'Connor Mortuary Chapel, Laguna Hills, CA. Funeral Mass Friday March 3, 2017, 10 am at Mission Basilica San Juan Capistrano, CA.
