I was hard at work studying (what else does one do in STUDY HALL) when I heard Miss Thomas do the customary throat clear followed by a slightly disgusted "Yes Larry, what is it?" His hand in the air he replied,  "Miss Thomas, do you have a pair of scissors?"  She was right back with "What do you need a pair of scissors for?."  Having just come from shop class Larry raised his hand which had a huge spike nail inserted  between his fingers, high into the air and said, "My nails are getting a little long and need trimmed!"  As she marched toward the door she blurted out "Come with me Larry!" as the rest of the class totally lost it!
