Earlier this week I called Sandy Kay (Hill) Dick to make sure that she and Edgar were planning to come to the reunion, and to get on our website. Sandy answered and somewhere in the conversation, I asked if Edgar was available. Linda and I had talked to both of them on the square three years ago one Saturday night during one of the "car shows". Although I'm sure we hadn't seen each other since graduation, it was just like we'd talked in class a few days before. Edgar was just the same, only like all of us, a little older. Anyway, Sandy told me that Edgar had passed away two years ago after being sick for some time. Crushing. Sandy reminded me that we had met at the car show, and we talked about our lives since school. Edgar was always a smiling face that we all knew, by some more and others less. Another classmate that we will miss next year. Sandy will be coming, by the way, so Edgar will be with us at least in one heart and our thoughts.
