Jeffrey L. Schiermeier, age 57, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Born May 22, 1960 in Pilger, Nebraska, he was the son of Harold and Dorothy E. (Reinhold) Schiermeier.
Mr. Schiermeier was a funeral director in New Mexico for several years. He also worked for Madison Precision Products for ten years after moving to this area from Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2006.
On June 13, 1987, he was united in marriage to Marlene Edwards in Albuquerque.
He was a member of the Madison Moose Lodge, enjoyed gardening, his rose bushes and his dog, Danna.
He will be sadly missed by his mother, Dorothy Schiermeier of Norfolk, Nebraska; one sister, Pam Weyhrich of Arnolds Park, Iowa; one brother, Gary Schiermeier of Kimberling, Missouri; one step-daughter, Michelle Waganaar of Lexington, Indiana; three grandchildren and one great grandchild..
He was preceded in death by his father, and his wife on February 15, 2016.
No services will be held.
