NORFOLK — Memorial services for Todd R. Sohl, 55, Norfolk, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Stonacek Funeral Chapel in Norfolk. The Rev. David Cox will officiate. Private inurnment services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral chapel in Norfolk.

He died Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, at Faith Regional Health Services in Norfolk.

The son of Don Sohl and Jo (Carstens) Sohl-Schmit was born Nov. 26, 1960, in Norfolk. He graduated from Norfolk High School in 1978 and earned a degree in business and administration from Northeast Community College.

He married Sonja Vaughan on Aug. 8, 1981, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norfolk. After marriage, Todd worked at Coors Distributing Company, Stanley Petroleum, Affiliated Foods, Vulcraft, and managed Thompsons Corner in Osmond. He had been battling cancer for the past five years. He enjoyed staying active in sports, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norfolk, as well as Pheasants Forever.

Survivors include his sons, Kellen Sohl of Norfolk and Kyle Sohl of Norfolk; siblings Scott and spouse Sherry Sohl of Norfolk, Shawn Sohl of Lee’s Summit, Mo., Mandy England of Des Moines, Iowa, Shain Sohl of Lee’s Summit, Chris (Krissy) Wilbur of Omaha, Tonya (Will) Rickey of Norfolk, Brandon (Kaytlyn) Sohl of Lincoln; his stepmother, Cindy Sohl of Columbus; his stepfather, Jerry Schmit of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Justyce and Keaston, and their mother, Katie Dohren of Plainview.

He was preceded in death by his spouse, Sonja Sohl on Dec. 24, 1999; his father, Don Sohl; and his mother, Jo Sohl-Schmit.
