Romney Ruder

After college, spent some time in the military and following, went to work in the forest products business. Went to graduate school and started PhD work. We moved around a lot due to work but settled in Wichita about 7 1/2 years ago where I worked for a forest products company. My family and I had felt a calling for some time to join the Christian missionary field and made the jump this year.

I have been married for almost 12 years and my wife is from KC. She homeschools our two boys.

Foolishly thinking I could get away with lighting a smoke bomb in an "extra credit" skit in Mrs. Jurenas' speech class. I believe we were acting out Caddyshack. That got me a nice visit to the principals office.
