We lost another dear and special friend….

Claudia Stafford Price passed away on February 27, 2023, at her home in San Antonio, Texas. She was born to Jimmy and Peggy Stafford. She was raised in Norman, Oklahoma. She died due to Cancer after several medical issues the past 2 years. 
Claudia graduated from Norman High School in 1967, where she was a proud member of the NHS Band. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church. She had many friends who staying in touch thru the years. 
After marriage, Claudia lived in Clovis, New Mexico, Colorado and Lincoln, Nebraska. She worked for many years at the University of Nebraska. She also took some classes in Women's Studies. She moved to San Antonio, Texas to be near her daughter. 
Claudia was a happy person who cherished her family. She loved watching OU football. Her constant companions were her beloved dogs: Boomer, Sooner, Little Boy and Kee-Kee. 
Claudia was preceded in death by her parents. Her best friend, Judy, and her niece Mindy. 
Surviving her are three children: Heather (Tom), Brooks (Shantel) and Drew. Grandchildren: Jared, Hunter, Blake, Blayne, Nahla, Westyn and Ryker. Nieces: Glenda (Eric) and Shelly. Several Cousins, Nephews and nieces and Her sister Linda (Richard) who adored her. 
At her request there will be no services. If you wish to honor Claudia, please send a donation to the Norman Animal Shelter in Norman, OK. 
Claudia will be missed so much, but we will carry memories of her forever. We look forward to the promise that we will see her in Heaven.

Oh   wow, this one really makes me sad. I always enjoyed Claudia's companionship. She was always happy and had a wonderfully  infectious smile to share. There was always room for her in the car for our lunchtimes at the Sonic. 

Your suffering is over dear Claudia. Rest in peace in Jesus' arms.

So very sad to hear about Claudia's passing.  She was the only other female trumpet player in the band.  We always enjoyed sitting next to each other and acting so very goofy.  She and her family invited me to share Christmas with them our Senior year.  What a great time and fun adventure on a ranch.  Wonderful memories.
