Dr. Jeffery C. Fuson, 40, of Norman, OK, died Monday, October 9, 1995 at Oklahoma City. He was the son of Frank C. Fuson, Jr. and Naoma Fuson of Norman, formerly of Wellington.

Dr. Fuson, along with other members of the family continued close ties with Wellington and he had spent much time here through the years.

Dr. Fuson was born August 18, 1955 at Hurlwood. He came to Norman at the age of nine and graduated from Norman High School. He did his undergraduate work at Oklahoma University and received his doctorate in chemistry from Oklahoma Slate University. He was an analytical chemist, a member of the American Chemical Society and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include his parents, Frank C. Jr and Naoma C. Fuson of Norman; his son, William Christopher Fuson and his daughter, Melinda June Fuson and a brother, Larry Fuson of Evergreen, CO. Dr. Fuson was the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Fuson, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Coleman. His great grandparents were John and Laura Fuson who were early pioneers coming to Collingsworth County about 1895.
