David Wilson

Willis "David" Wilson passed away at age 65 on January 28th after complications from the Covid virus. He was born in Norman, OK, on December 27, 1955, to David and Donna Wilson. He was married for 30 years to Nancy Gibbs Wilson.
David served in the Navy for 2 years after graduating from Norman High School in 1974. While at NHS he played basketball, football, and was on the wrestling team. He worked in Business Machines sales for the past 30 years. At the time of his death, he was employed with Fuzzell's Business Machines in Bethany, OK. David was an avid golfer, gardener, and swimmer.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy, daughter Lindsay Singleton and husband Chad of Austin, TX, mother, Donna Wilson of Oklahoma City, siblings, Dean and Melinda Wilson of Norman, Doug and Sherrell Wilson of Tyler, TX, and Jack and Susan Hardcastle of Abilene, TX, and sister-in-law, Pat Morgan of Norman, and many cousins, nephews, and nieces. David was proceeded in death by his father, Dillon David Wilson, and his niece, Deana Wilson Patterson. A family memorial will be held in the spring.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and ICU staff at the Norman Healthplex. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to ask that memorials of food, snacks (individually wrapped), or gift cards be made to the The Norman Regional Health System Foundation, specifically for the Healthplex ICU medical staff.
