Kerri Grayce (Harrington) Kirby was one of a set of twins born to Kenneth and Ellen (Patchett) Harrington on Sept. 13, 1957, in Oklahoma City. After a hard fought battle with cancer, Kerri went home on Sunday, Aug. 28, 2011, at the age of 53 years. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Skyridge Free Will Baptist Church, 150 S. 48th St., Noble. Gary Harrington will officiate. Shortly after her birth, her parents moved from Oklahoma City to Norman (Cleveland County); she resided there for the rest of her life. She graduated from Norman High School in 1975. In 1974, she met Mr. Rick Kirby; a romantic relationship began that would last 37 years. On May 7, 1976, Rick and Kerri were united in marriage in Norman. They made their home in Norman and lived in the same house for the last 25 years. Shortly after her birth, her parents moved from Oklahoma City to Norman (Cleveland County); she resided there for the rest of her life. She graduated from Norman High School in 1975. In 1974, she met Mr. Rick Kirby; a romantic relationship began that would last 37 years. On May 7, 1976, Rick and Kerri were united in marriage in Norman. They made their home in Norman and lived in the same house for the last 25 years. Kerri was employed with the University of Oklahoma for the last 10 years as a program specialist. Previously, she was employed with DHS and Northcare as a social worker. She was a member of the Skyridge Free Will Baptist Church. She was an avid shopper and enjoyed quilting and traveling, but her heart was with her husband and family, especially her grandchildren. Kerri is survived by her husband, Rick of the home; two sons, Thomas Shane Kirby and wife Ali of Noble and Trey Kirby of Noble; one daughter, Richelle Grayce McManaman and husband Tyler of Colorado; her mother, Ellen Harrington; her father, Kenneth Harrington; her twin brother, Gary Ken Harrington and wife Karin; two sisters, Dennese Louise Rosenfelt and husband Chuck and Linda Ann Gaitner and husband Jon, five grandchildren, Kaleb Shane Kirby, Kassidy Ann Kirby, Logan Brock Kirby, Riley Lane Kirby and Taylor Nicole Willige; and other relatives and friends. Interment will be at Fairview Maguire Cemetery. Arrangements are by Memorial Chapel Funeral Service of Noble. Norman Transcript, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011
