Jon Allen Uhlenhake, 61, of Norman passed away on Saturday November 24, 2018 with his family by his side.
He was born August 20, 1957 in Norman to James R. and Mona Uhlenhake. On March 4, 2000 he married Connie Bankson.
Jon loved traveling around camping with his family. He loved being outdoors, whether it be hunting, fishing, shooting sporting clays or even mowing. He always kept himself busy and loved to cheer on his OU Sooners. Above all he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother: Mona Uhlenhake; wife: Connie of 18 years; children: Kelly (Jeremy) Eby, Shannon (Lea Ann) Newton, Greg (Linette) Newton; grandchildren: Donnie (Stephanie) Jessica, Christy (Cody) Colt, Kailie, Addison, Cash, Macy, Jenna, Kory; two brothers: Max (Sam) Unhlenhake, Chris Uhlenhake; sister: Rita Uhlenhake; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father: James R. Uhlenhake.
Funeral Service will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday November 28, 2018 at Grace Place Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, OK. Burial will follow at Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Norman, OK. Pastor Robby Roberson will officiate.
